5-Day Top-Notch Wildlife Safari Expedition

“We just finished the most wonderful 5 days safari with Topi Tours. If we could give it 10 stars, we would - totally exceded our expectations. We flew into Seronera and spent 2 nights in Serengeti at Moyo Lodge. Beautiful accomodation and hosts. Buffalo and Lions roaming outside at night was amazing. Food and drink delicious. It was my birthday and the team brought our a cake and got the lodge into dancing mode. We then spent a night in Ngorogoro at Serene lodge (loved the bar, live music, and view of the cráter), and then a night at Escarpment Lodge (surely the best view from any pool in Africa) and Tarangire NP. But the highlight through all of this was our incredible guide, and new friend, Ben. We could not have imagined someone more knowledgeable, attentive, caring (both to us and the animals) and funny. He helped us spot the big 5 (including two leopard sightings!), and the elusive rhino in Ngorogoro. Ben has such a detailed insight into the parks, the history, the animals, the people - it seemed there was no question too big or small that he wouldn’t provide a thoughtful answer to. Thank you, Ben! We chose Topi based on price, lodges and other positive reviews. So glad we did. Also very happy to have chosen a smaller independent operator. Would recommend topi and Ben to anyone considering a Tanzania safari.”

“We went on a 5-day safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. Our guide was Ben, and he truly is the best! He was always friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to answer all our questions, sparking engaging conversations about animals, birds, and plants. The organization was flawless. Ben managed the timing perfectly, adapting the route according to wildlife sightings and activities outside the parks. He was incredibly kind not only to us but also to everyone we met along the way, making us feel cared for and creating a wonderful bond with us. The vehicle was very comfortable, always spotless, and stocked with plenty of drinks and snacks. We were lucky enough to see all the animals we had hoped for—some even from very close up! We chose one of their pre-arranged packages, but they also offer the possibility to tailor the trip to your needs. We definitely recommend spending two nights in the Serengeti, as it is vast and truly breathtaking. The accommodations were lovely. There were a few changes compared to the original plan, but the alternatives turned out to be even better than expected. Very good value for money overall! “The entire trip fulfilled my expectations. The communication with Jackson prior to the trip went very smoothly, email and whatsapp - he answered patiently and promptly to all my questions :-). He came to meet us up on the day before we left for safari to explain everything about the trip and he also took care of our larger suitcases. After the safari he met us up again, this time to deliver our suitcases at check-in at our next destination in Arusha (after safari) and to make sure that we had a pleasant safari. Also transport from and to the airport is included. We were on a shared safari, meaning people jumped on and off at different parks and locations. It worked fine as it would have been much more expensive to charter a safari jeep for only 2 people. Our driver Assad was with us for our entire 5 day safari. He knows every corner of the parks and made us go through different roads to avoid other jeeps and to find animals. Yes, we managed to see the Big Five, though the rhino was in a very far distance. My favourite park? Ngorongoro crater due to the large number of animals. However, Serengeti was fantastic too :-). All the 4 parks had their own character. We chose to go midrange, no camps and we are very happy with the different lodges and glampings provided. Breakfast and dinner (usually buffet) were all great. Our chef that came along made nice lunches, so much better than all the cardboard box lunches most of the other companies provided to their clients. Any improvements: I can only add to previous reviews regarding the visit of a "Masai village". I usually try to avoid these kind of visits wherever I go. We were asked if we wanted to stay at one of them and we were told it was a more authentic one, but I felt uncomfortable during the entire visit. A short dance, very few words about their daily lives and then we were invited to a hut where the man's wife and child were asleep. And then the mandatory visit to their shop. Awkward. I did not read or hear anything about any warnings prior to the visit.”

“The journey with Topy Tours was beyond my expectations. I booked a 5 day group safari that included Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara. The package included the pick up/drop for airport (Kilimanjaro/Arusha), hotel stay before and after the safari, the entire safari including Tourism tax, entry to the national parks, material for camping, stay at lodges and all meals including provision of wine and beers. The owner, Jackson was very responsive and took care of everything without us having to worry about anything. He greeted me on the day or arrival and as well as the day of departure. The best part of the trip were- Joseph (tour guide) and Simba (Chef). Both these people went out of their ways to make us feel comfortable, safe and well fed. Joseph was very knowledgeable and did not mind detours to explore more. Our group asked many many questions and he always responded with a smile on his face. Simba made sure we are well fed at all times. We are served freshly made food in all meals that included soups/ freshly baked breads/ pizza/pasta/lasagne/curries/salads/ grilled fish or chicken/desserts. I gained 2 kgs after the trip ;) I would highly recommend Topy Tours to anyone who asks. “We went on a five-day safari with Topy Tours to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, brilliantly organised by Jackson. He met us from the Nairobi shuttle in Arusha and took us to the included hotel which was clean, comfortable and close to the departure point of our trip. We set off with our guide and driver, Godfrey who became the architect of an amazing and hugely informative trip where we saw extraordinary numbers of animals and learned so much. Dennis, the chef who joined us and provided us with three great meals a day including hot picnic lunches, was brilliant in producing wonderful meals on limited equipment. You can't go wrong with this team on safari, and Jackson's communication and helpfulness was top notch, even helping when I lost my debit card.”

“We booked with Jackson at Topy Tours for a five day safari trip to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Jackson arrived promptly to collect us from the Nairobi to Arusha shuttle and took us to the perfectly acceptable Arusha Tourist Inn for the night before we set off from there the next morning with our guide, wildlife expert and driver Godfrey. Tarangire was amazing, loads of elephants and other animals but Godfrey took us to a secluded part of the park where we saw a cheetah chase and kill a small gazelle. Overnight was in a pleasant lodge in Manyara where we met our excellent chef Dennis before we drove to the Serengeti. Our time there was extraordinary, seeing so many big cats, including having a pride of lions around our vehicle just after they had killed three zebras, leopards and more cheetahs. Added to this was huge numbers of zebras, and very many other species. We camped two nights there, with feasts provided by Dennis who also made delicious lunches every day. We visited the river with its extraordinary numbers of hippos on the last morning in Serengeti before driving to our camp on the rim of Ngorongoro caldera to camp again, descending into the caldera the next day. It is a beautiful paradise and in addition to all the very many other animals we had seen we saw rhinos and flamingos before returning to Arusha. Overall we had seen an astounding 55 lions, six cheetahs, three leopards and thousands of zebras plus so much more, thanks to Godfrey's skill and knowledge, had feasted three times a day on the best meals we had in Tanzania thanks to Dennis and the five of us on the trip had lots of laughs with our two experts as well. Upon our return I had a problem with my bank card being taken inside an ATM. While we went on a lovely day trip to Lake Manyara also with Topy Tours Jackson was kind enough to make great efforts to retrieve it but sadly the bank was not as helpful. In all Topy Tours did us proud and it was a fabulous trip with wonderful people.”

“The whole safari was absolutely amazing - once in a lifetime experience we will never forget in our lives. Our safariguide Tima was great in finding all animals and we were able to see them all very close. That was breathtaking. And the food was unbelievable good. I think we need more sport in the next days to get back our normal weight :). Our Tour was 5 days-4 nights and 4 parks: Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro NP, Lake Manyara NP. We sleped for two nights in tents directly in the parks and had a few animal visitors at night (Zebras, pumbas and an elephant, which was amazing). Jackson as our contact person of the agency was very helpful and was happy to help with questions before the Safari by WhatsApp whitin a very short time. We can reccomend the agency to everybody.
