Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and tree-climbing lions, as well as for its diverse wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and hippos. The park is also home to unique baobab trees, some over 8,000 years old. Lunch will be enjoyed at the Tarangire River picnic site, with expansive views over the plains. Afterward, continue with a game drive until late evening, then head to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

It is one of the few places in Africa where visitors can reliably spot all of the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo). In the afternoon, pause to enjoy lunch at the hippo pool picnic site. After lunch, continue to explore the Crater until evening, when you drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

“10 Day Safari - Tarangire, Ngorogoro Crater, Central and North Serengeti, Lake Natron
We honestly cant say enough good things about Topy and Joseph our guide. We have just had the best holiday of our lives and have experienced so many amazing highlights thanks to Joseph and the Topy team.
Sophia, Jackson and Topy were so helpful from the start. Our accommodation was all fantastic, delicious food and comfortable beds and feeling like we were in the heart of the Serengeti in our Safari Haven Camps. A delicious cooked lunch each day to have out on our adventure meant we never went hungry (where most other groups we saw had packed sandwiches)
The guide will always be the most important part of a Safari trip and we had the best with Joseph, 13 years experience and just so extremely knowledgeable and passionate about all the parks we visited. We were so lucky to have so many individual and unique encounters with Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs and everything else that Joseph found first, giving us plenty of time to enjoy just us and the animals. You could tell all the other guides had a huge amount of respect for him and we were told multiple times we had the best guide and we knew it. This is the best part of going with a smaller and passionate team rather than a large company that all rush to the same encounters that we would always see aswell, but trusting Joseph to bring us to find the best Safari experience each day made this the best holiday we'll ever have.
Thanks Joseph, Sophia and Jackson”
Reliable and precise
“We went for a 10 days Safari with Topy Tour. Jackson, the owner that we communicated with before the commencement of the tour, was very helpful. He is responsive and accomodative. He greeted us at the hotel the evening we arrived and went through with us the itinerary in detail. Our guide Ben is fantastic. Our original itinerary includes 2 nights at North Serengeti for the migrations, Ben was able to recommend to change to 1 night as it was too early for the migration. Ben is knowledgeable and provide us with lots of information and behaviour of the animals which made the trip very interesting. The accommodation exceeded our expectation. The food was good. Besides all these, Ben is very professional, kind, friendly and a thinker. We would definitely recommend Topy Tour.
They also have a guide, Ibrahim, speaking Italian.”
Absolutely the Best in the Business, this was our 2nd trip with Jackson, Ben + team!!
“Being the 2nd trip with Topy (1st Dec 2024), this time was even better. While we saw abundant wildlife, several sightings of the “shy rhinos” was the the most exiting. This time we requested the same guide Ben (who seems to have additional set of eyes on the back of his head) who has an amazing knack for spotting animals in unusual places.
Our friends, a couple from the States had the misfortune of being airborne when the attacks on Iran began, resulting in their flight turning back to USA. Being absolutely determined to make it for the safari planned a year in advance, they immediately rebooked via alternative route to reach JRO a day late. Jackson went out of his way to ensure our friends joined us a day into our safari (we did Ngorongoro the first day) and also adjusted the programme to cover Ngorongoro on return from Serengeti.
Our friends and us (3 couples) were absolutely thrilled with the experience and sincerely thank Jackson, Ben, Andrew + team for a memorable safari.
Most likely go back to Topy for a “Migration Tour”.”
Second safari with Topy even better than first!!
“For my partner and I this was SECOND SAFARI WITH TOPY and this time was even better than the first (Dec 2024). While we saw abundant animals, the real treat was many viewings of the “shy rhino’s”!! This time we requested on the same guide Ben (who seems to have additional set of eyes on at the back of his head) an absolutely amazing knack for spotting animals in unusual places.
Our friends a couple (from USA) had the misfortune of being airborne to Qatar when Iranian attacks began, resulting in their return to USA. Being absolutely determined to make it for the safari, they immediately booked alternative flights reaching Arusha a day late. Jackson went out of his way to ensure our friends joined us a day into our safari (we did Ngorongoro the first day). Jackson also enabled us to take in Ngorongoro at the end on return from Serengeti.
Our friends and us (3 couples) were absolutely thrilled with the whole experience and sincerely thank Jackson, Ben, Andrew + team for a memorable safari.
Most likely go back to Topy for a migration tour!!”
10 Days of Parks in Tanzania: Tarangire, Ngorogoro, Serengeti, Lake Natron and Lake Manyara. An explosion of life!
“Despite some shortcomings, especially with respect to the chosen Lodges and possible improvements in the route, my overall rating is good. We did a 10-day Safari and the Cyprian guide was excellent, solving the problems that arose. Regarding the hotels, especially in Serengeti, the choice, for the price paid, should have been better. There are very good accommodation options.

Amazing and unforgettable
“How about a dream come true? When we decided to opt for the 10-days safari with Topy Tours, we were mainly attracted by the amazing itinerary proposed (roundle circle to Arusha via Tarangire, Ngorongoro, South Serengeti, Central Serengeti, North Serengeti, Lake Natron and Lake Manyara) and honestly also by the great reviews it already have.
Reality exceeded expectations: panoramic views, significant stops on the way to learn more about tanzanite and ebony carving, a lot of animals and discovery. Not only the Big Five, but also serval cats and caracals (almost impossible to detect) and the remarkable show of the Great Migration at the Masa River in North Serengeti.
All this natural spectacles came with a great organization and a great driver and guide (Naaman), who took care of us all along the route and was always available with his kindness to further information and explanations. The guide is English-speaking, but in case of need for translation in your home language, Topy will provide a pretty fluent translator for the main languages (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese…)
Thanks Topy Tours for made this journey unforgettable!”
Perfect Safari
“When I planned our safari it was very important for me to read the reviews of various sites of the chosen company. I saw that Topy Tours had only very good reviews and I decided to book with them.
It was a very good decision, as our trip went just perfect.
From the beginning on Jackson was very available to help me with any question about the safari and the necessary details. The pick up from the airport, to the hotel and back to the airport was always very punctual and well organised.
The safari was just stunning, our guide Simon was perfectly prepared to share with us the wonders of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. He drove us always just in time to see special moments of special animals and thanks to him we were able to see all of the big Five.
Also in the lodges we felt really good, everybody we met -generally during all our stay in Tanzania- was incredibly kind. They treated us so well with good food and nice and very clean rooms.
During safari Richard cooked fresh and typical meals for us.
Asante sana to all people we met during our stay, if we come back to Tanzania we will contact you again for sure.”
Best Safari Tour to Ngorongoro and Serengeti NP
“From arrival to departure everything was quite well organized, even with an issue with accommodation booking arranged separately he patiently and gently spoke with us to settle. Communication with Jackson was always easy and timely.
Tour guide was also a very nice and friendly guy, and thanks to him we could watch all BIG5 and fantastic migration scenes with fun time during the tour.
Such an amazing experience with prefect arrangement from Jackson and Topy Tours, and we fully appreciate for the support.”
