Itinerary

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with warm hospitality and transferred to Tulia Boutique & Spa Hotel in Arusha city. If time allows you will spend some time exploring the city, both the gateway city for most safaris in northern Tanzania and a fascinating place to explore. You'll enjoy good restaurants, streets filled with energy and so many snapshots of vibrant Tanzanian city life. It’s everything you look for in an urban pit stop.
Today, your safari adventure begins! After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel around 8:00 am for a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. You'll reach the park gate around 10:00 am and, after check-in, start your game drive. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and tree-climbing lions, as well as wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and hippos. The park is also home to unique baobab trees, some of which are over 8,000 years old. Lunch will be enjoyed at the Tarangire River picnic site, with expansive views over the plains. Afterward, continue with a game drive until late evening, then head to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will depart for the Serengeti. A long and bumpy road will take you about 4-5 hours of a fascinating game en route, driving up the crater highlands towards the vast plains of Serengeti. If the weather is clear and not foggy, you will stop at Ngorongoro Viewpoint to have a glimpse of the caldera for 10 minutes before continuing with your drive to Serengeti. You will stop for a picnic lunch at Naabi Hill Gate before checking into the park for an evening/sunset game drive. After catching the sunset, you will proceed to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Following breakfast, drive off to enjoy a full day gamedrive in the Serengeti National Park, one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations. Journey through vast savannahs, rivers, and kopjes searching for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of plains game. The picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the bush, surrounded by sights and sounds of nature. After lunch, continue exploring as the day allows ample time to follow wildlife movements. Later in the day, as the sun begins to set, slowly drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, your day begins early, with your packed breakfast and a drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day gamedrive. Ngorongoro Crater is widely considered Africa's "Garden of Eden" for its breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife density, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo) and thousands of other animals within its 260 sq km area, making it a premier wildlife viewing spot. As the afternoon approaches, enjoy lunch at the hippo pool picnic site. After lunch, proceed with the gamedrive until evening, when you'll exit the Crater and drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
You’ll wake up to a peaceful morning at your lodge in Karatu and enjoy a relaxed breakfast before setting off toward Lake Eyasi. Here, you’ll spend time with the Hadzabe people, getting a real glimpse into their daily life as they share their traditions, stories, and hunting skills that have been passed down for generations. After a leisurely lunch in the area, you’ll begin the drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening in time for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at your accommodation.
After breakfast, you'll set out on one of the most interesting tours in the Kilimanjaro region. Just at the base of Kilimanjaro, there is a small, beautiful village known as "Materuni Village." Here, you can find one of the biggest waterfalls in the region and the finest coffee makers. You will be left in awe as you hike through a greenish land of bananas, coffee, yams, potatoes, etc. Also, you will spend time with the locals learning how to make a cup of coffee locally. You will get a taste of one of the finest coffees, followed by a well-cooked and tasty meal for your lunch. Afterward, you will drive to Kikuletwa Hot Springs for a refreshing swim. Later, after the adventure, begin your journey back to Arusha or the airport.

🦁 Wildlife Sightings Beyond Our Wildest Dreams
We were lucky enough to tick off the entire Big Five, but the magic didn't stop there! Thanks to our incredible itinerary and tracking, we also got to see a serval, a cheetah, hyenas, and so many other unbelievable animals in their natural habitat. Every single day brought a new, breathtaking surprise.
🌟 A Special Shoutout to Our Guide, Josef!

Excellent tour, great value
“I went with my parents on a 7 day safari and had an amazing time. Jackson was extremely responsive and made every request of ours happen quickly and easily (adding day trips and city tours before and after the safari, adding a night drive, visiting the Hadzabe bushmen during our safari, etc). The safari itself was wonderful - Cyprian was a great guide who was extremely knowledgeable about flora and fauna as well as an excellent driver. We saw every animal we wanted to see including not just the Big 5 but also cheetah, lion, and leopard cubs. Our accommodations were spectacular, with wonderful food and amazing views. I would highly recommend Topy tours for a truly wonderful safari at an excellent price”
