What to pack for a Safari
Planning what to wear and what essentials to bring on your upcoming safari in Tanzania is not all that complicated. Everything you need is most likely in your closet already! Our clothing suggestions apply for all seasons on a Tanzania safari. The goal is to pack lightly as Safaris are informal, and there is no need to dress up.
Clothing;
Neutral-colored outfits (Clothes in Khaki, beige, or olive colors to blend in with the environment), Lightweight layers ( Pack t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, lightweight jacket for variable weather), Hat and Sunglasses (To protect against the sun), Comfortable shoes (Closed-toe hiking boots or sneakers for walking Safaris)
Accessories;
Binoculars (For spotting animals from a distance), Camera (With extra battery and memory), Daypack (To carry essentials during game drives), Scuff or Buff (To shield against dust)
Health Essentials;
Sunscreen and lip balm (To protect skin from the harsh sun), Insect repellent (keeps bugs and mosquitoes away), Personal medication (Bring a first-aid kit and any prescription medications), Hygiene supplies (Wet wipes and hand sanitizers for convenience in remote areas)
Electronics;
